John (Dave) Philo, SCORE District Director
Dave is the District Director SCORE Mississippi Dave had two careers. He spent 22 years in the USAF. He started out as a judo instructor and ended up as a budget officer. Along the way he was also a electronics tech. with the Titan II program where he was selected for a commissioning program. The Air Force sent him to finish his undergraduate degree at Colorado State University where he majored in Computer Science and Statistics. Dave spent the last ten years of his career in financial related fields. During this period he had the opportunity to persue his MBA which he received from George Washington University. The Air Force provided Dave the opportunity to travel to the Far East and to Turkey, both very enjoyable. Upon retiring from the Air Force, Dave took a job a Ingalls Shipbuilding (now Northrup Grumman) in Pascagoula, MS. During his twenty-five + years there, he served as the financial manager for both the cruiser and the destroyer programs. As a result of his job with the shipyard Dave was able to learn about every aspect of shipbuilding. This covered the time from when we first bid a contract through the material purchasing process, the engineering process, the construction process and after delivery support to the ships. Dave retired from the shipyard in 2003 and has been an active member of SCORE since then.

Georgina Burt Ph.D., Chapter Chair
Georgina Burt is the Chapter Chairperson Georgina Burt is retired executive. She has over 25 years of executive level experience at directing global operation development, supply chain, marketing, procurement and sourcing for diversified global conglomerates. She worked for global companies like General Electric, Tyco International and had her own strategic business development consulting company.
Her principal strengths include strategic planning, change program management, innovation, process re-engineering and in depth knowledge in manufacturing operations.(Visited over 500 manufacturing operations around the world.)
She has a doctorate in Economics and has taught in the Business/Economics School at UNH and in her native University of Economics Budapest, Hungary.
Score volunteer since 2002.

Louis J. Finkle Ph.D.
A former Peabody Scholar and Psychologist, Dr. Finkle served the first 20 years of his career as a Professor. He completed post-doctoral studies in Financial Planning practicing the next 20 years as a Business Financial Planner earning certifications of RIA, CFP and accredited investor (venture capital). He authored more than 300 articles and edited 500+ business plans and grant proposals. He co-owned 33 businesses before his wife died in 2002. He bought into three Mississippi stores, trying to start a large artist colony along the MS Gulf Coast and assists SCORE as a volunteer counselor.

LeRoy Lizana
LeRoy Lizana is a native and life-long resident of Harrison County and Pass Christian. He received his Associate of Science Degree from Perkinston Junior college and earned his Bachelor of Science and Master of Education Degrees from the University of Southern Mississippi.
He began his career in 1954 at Pass Christian where he served as Business Education Teacher, High School Principal and Assistant Superintendent. Later he served as Federal Programs Coordinator and Assistant Superintendent of Harrison County School District. He returned to Pass Christian in 1972 where he served 20 years as Superintendent. He retired in 1992 after completing 38 years in public education.
He received numerous awards and acclamations throughout his career. Foremost among these awards was the Pass Christian Outstanding Citizen Award in 1981 and Outstanding Educator Award in 1988. He was recognized by the Executive Educator Magazine as one of the top 100 Executives in North America in 1989 (Outstanding Executive Educator Award).
He is a member of Gulf Coast Chapter 130 of the Service Corps of Retired Executives and past Mississippi Director. He is a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Pass Christian Rotary Club, recipient of the club�s Rotarian of the Year award in 2008-2009 and has been the Editor of the Pass Christian Rotary Club Channel Beacon Newsletter since July, 2008. He is an honorary Paul Harris Fellow and has 37 consecutive years of perfect attendance in Rotary. He is a member the American Association of School Administrators, a life member of the Mississippi P.T.A. and past president of the Pass Christian Chamber of Commerce. He is a member of Holy Family Parish
He resides in Pineville with his spouse Willa Dean. They have two children, John and Elizabeth and five grandchildren, Hannah and Whitney Dore and Andre, Leo and Blake Lizana.

James E. McClain having retired continues to operate Management Development Specialists, LLC. He has a Bachelors and Masters of Science degree from Chapman University, Orange California. In 1987 he received certification in Financial Planning from University of California, Los Angeles.
His Fortune 500 corporate experience began in sales and marketing and progressed through Distribution, Customer Service and Human Resources with industry experience in finance, manufacturing and electronics. He has also served on numerous boards and been an Adjunct College Instructor.
His entrepreneurial experience includes founding an executive search firm, real estate and property management firm, a commercial insurance brokerage and currently a training and development company. He is the author of Successful Career Development: A Game Plan, Strategic Sales Strategies, How to Buy Insurance: A Consumer's Guide and the ABC's of Business planning for Moonlighters, Micros and Startups.
He has been a SCORE counselor since retiring to the Gulf Coast in 2004.
